CMNZ Festival
This year we have 3 of our Chamber Ensembles participating in the NZ Chamber music competition. Two Mahi Monday Trios and the Malaga Samoa group will be performing on stage at Diocesan School for girls in Epsom. This is a great achievement for all our students to be taking part in this prestigious event. We would love for you to come along and support all the Sistema Aotearoa performers it should be a lovely afternoon of music.
Winter Concert (Fundraiser)
Our Senior Orchestra Winter Concert is at the end of term! Join our rōpu for an evening of wonderful music-making, featuring works by Sondheim, Morricone, Rossini & more! They'll be fundraising for the 2027 programme next year, so come down and support our rangatahi!

Introducing, “Kia Ora, an Evening of Classical Music” featuring the Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphony, visiting from Minnesota USA and the Auckland Youth Orchestra.

Pese! Fasi! Puoro!
Pese! Fasi! Pūoro! is a community workshop led by conductor David Kay and Auckland Philharmonia musicians for tamariki and rangatahi from Sistema Aotearoa, an Ōtara-based youth orchestra.
Auckland Philharmonia & Sistema Aotearoa have nurtured a collaborative partnership for over 10 years, and in this workshop they will rehearse a diverse selection of music that ranges from well-known classical composers, through to modern pop favourites.
The workshop culminates in a free concert at the Due Drop Events Centre at 3pm, where friends, whānau and the wider community can enjoy the finale performance of the orchestral pieces rehearsed during the workshop.

We are proud to continue our special and strategic relationship with Auckland Philharmonia. In 2025 this includes a side-by-side concert performance – a fantastic and free way to introduce tupuna, mokopuna and everyone in between to the concert experience.
Get the whole whānau together for free community concert Pese! Fasi! Pūoro! celebrating some of South Auckland’s best ākonga alongside the full force of the orchestra.

Malaga Samoa Concert Fundraiser
Our Malaga group is hard at work preparing an exciting programme for their upcoming tour this September. As part of their journey, they’re inviting you to be part of a special evening to support their fundraising efforts.
The concert will take place on Saturday 21 June at 6:30pm at ŌMAC. It will feature performances by the Malaga group and will help raise funds to support their upcoming tour.
$10 at the door- Your presence and support will help make this tour possible, and we’d love to see you there.
