Donate an Instrument

Sistema Aotearoa is grateful for donations of pre-loved musical instruments –  it doesn’t matter what condition they are in – as long as it is playable it could transform the life of a child. Instrument donations are vital to our programme’s operation.

We are currently seeking donations of the following musical instruments and equipment:

  • String instruments, all sizes – violin, viola, cello and double bass
  • Music stands (folding)
  • Other – spare strings, rosin, bows, and any other music accessories associated with the instruments listed above

Please note: we do not require music books or sheet music.

Please contact and we will make arrangements to give your musical instrument a new home where it will be played and treasured. If you have another type of instrument you may wish to donate just make contact and we can chat!

The Sistema Aotearoa Trust has been granted special exemption by the Department of Inland Revenue as a recipient of tax-deductible donations.
