Our tutors are not necessarily all professional musicians and we seek to create a diverse team with a wide range of musical and teaching experience and skills.

Programme Manager: Sistema Aotearoa
After 8 years with the programme our Programme manager is moving on.
We are looking for an experienced manager to lead the Sistema Aotearoa programme in Otara, South Auckland under the governance of the Sistema Aotearoa Trust. Sistema Aotearoa is a large urban community focussed programme with over 400 students in the core programme.
The Programme manager has overall responsibility for the design, implementation, growth and sustainability of the programme working closely with the Music Director and the Sistema Aotearoa Trust.
To be successful in this role you will need to be a strategic thinker with demonstrated leadership abilities, have a proven ability to submit and report on grant and funding applications, and display highly developed negotiation, relationship management and communication skills. This role does not involve teaching music to students. The ability to remain level-headed under pressure, cultural sensitivity and commitment to the community is essential.
